Science & Technology Camps utilize fun, exciting, and challenging activities to feed your child's interest in science and technology. Topics may include engineering, mathematics, computers, architecture, chemistry, biology, ecology, and more.

Science and Technology camps are often held at K-12 school campuses, local universities or science museums. Most science camps utilize fun learning activities and frequent play or socialization breaks to strike a balance between academics and summer fun.

iD Tech Camps ~ Stanford/Palo Alto, Berkeley, Moraga, Santa Clara University, Sacramento

Code for the real world! Ages 13-18 learn from top instructors and interact with industry professionals and/or NASA researchers in this 2-week immersive programming academy. Teens choose from one of three courses: C++ Programming and Rocket Science, iPhone® App Development or Facebook® App Development. Here’s your chance to bridge the gap between writing code in the lab and watching functions come to life in the real world. Locations include Stanford University and MIT. At Galileo Summer Quest, entering 5th through 8th graders dive into subjects they are passionate about or want to explore. Campers design their perfect summer day, working with expert instructors on in-depth projects and choosing from a selection of inspiring Majors, such as Magazine Makers, Go-Karts and Video Game Design. Campers also participate in two Minors from a varied group of topics, including Sports, Hip-Hop Dance and Science of Explosions.

The Tech Summer Camps ~ San Jose
The Tech Summer Camps offer hands-on science and technology classes for entering 4th – 8th graders at The Tech Museum in San Jose. Budding builders, inventors and scientists or computer, science and design devotees and can choose from a variety of class topics, including Lego Robotics, Claymation, Kitchen Chemistry and Junior M.D.

Creative Academies serve children from kindergarten through fifth grade. Children in grades 3–5 will choose experiences with the themes Adventure, Innovation, Immersion, and Olympic Endeavor in stimulating full-day sessions. Choices include forensic science, astronomy, gaming, physics, robotics, debate, cryogenics, biology, ancient civilizations, and design. Special field trips and extended skill-building sessions are offered.
